Trains « ont du retard » (avoir du retard) or « sont en retard ». « Est-ce que » builds a question with normal word order — easier than inversion. « Je vais rater » uses the near future: aller + infinitive.
Listen for key words in announcements: retard, supprimé (cancelled), voie (platform), quai. With SNCF, delays of 30+ minutes may give compensation (G30) — ask about it after the trip.
